This recipe is my husband’s baby. He is always the one who makes this. Every time we get a big group together, this is the recipe that we use. It’s super easy to feed TONS of people with it, and everyone loves it. Plus, there is hardly any work that needs to be done. note – I halved the recipe to make this amount (12 oz) I realize that this says it’s recipe 19, and I haven’t done a 16 or 17 or 18, but I really have. I just wanted to get this one out before Valentines day because it would be perfect if you are trying to do a redish/pinkish themed dinner. Plus it’s amazing. My husband’s family has a tradition. On your birthday, you get to pick whatever you want for dinner (I think most families have this tradition). This is what I pick. A salad. Because I want an...

Because it uses no eggs or butter and very little sugar, it was a popular dessert during World War II. I found it in Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook. That cook book is my number one go-to cookbook. If you don’t have it… you should buy it. It’s only $10 on Amazon or something like that. I really think that I would survive without any other cook book...

Anyway, in their cookbook, there is a recipe called Coconut Chicken Fingers. I modified that a little to make these. These were easy and quick and they taste awesome. They took less than 30 minutes to make and then they cooked for 20. My husband is always trying to get me to deep fry breaded chicken, something I am not a huge fan of (mostly because I ALWAYS get burned)....
