Do you remember about two weeks ago, I wrote a post talking about five things that would be nice to have when you have a new baby, but not necessary? You can read it here. One of the things I put on the list was a forehead thermometer. I said in that post that that was the one thing on the list that I actually don’t have, but would really like. Well, a couple days after I wrote that post, I received news that I was going to receive a Bran Forehead Thermometer to review. Ah! I was so excited.
So, after having it for a week or so, and already having a sick child during that time, I am ready to share what I think about the product with you all. I can pretty much sum it all up in three words:
I LOVE IT.
It is SO nice to be able to take a quick temp of my little one without having to hold her down for 60 seconds while the under-the-arm takes a might-be-accurate-temperature that I never believe anyway. This thermometer takes literally less than 10 seconds to get an accurate temperature.
One awesome thing about this thermometer is that the instructions are printed right on the front of the thermometer. It’s lists the four easy steps to getting a temperature. So, there is no fumbling with an instruction book when you need to get a temperature. 
The one downside I have found so far is I occasionally get an error message when I first turn it on. I think it’s because my house is pretty cold and the thermometer doesn’t like that. If I put the cap back on and try it again, it seems to work fine.
The best part is, my kids think it’s pretty cool. So not only is it faster, they actually WANT me to take their temperature. I seriously recommend this product to anyone with little kids (or big kids even… or no kids). Be sure to visit the Braun Facebook page for more info on this awesome product. And!
